Receiving a diagnosis of autism can be a difficult experience.

When a family first contacts Autism Connections, someone who understands autism and the family’s need for resources and information welcomes them. Shortly after the initial contact, families receive basic information about autism, Autism Connections' services, and how they can begin to advocate for a child or adult and obtain needed supports.

As children grow and make transitions to preschool, kindergarten, high school, and adulthood, Autism Connections walks alongside and continues to provide information and support to address these life changes.
